Walter and Ashley White are no strangers to this blog! In fact, we go much farther back than this blog.
Brittany and Ashley met in 2005 at a horse show. Over some friendly competition, they formed a friendship . Ashley event went to Brittany’s 16th birthday party! There is photographic evidence of this somewhere, but we’re keeping it under lock and key. Do you ever look back at photos of your teenage years and wonder “What was I thinking??”
Reflecting over the last 10 years, the changes in all of our lives are remarkable. From awkward teenagers with bad hair-dos and weird facial expressions, to almost-adults who think we have life all figured out, only to find our plans completely falling apart, to young adults finding our soul mates and blossoming into who we were meant to be- we have watched each other experience it all.
Ashley, you changed when you met Walter. You acquired a glow that could not be wiped off your face even if you wanted to. Remember during your engagement session how you wanted to keep a straight face, but always ended up giggling uncontrollably? That is a problem that every person on this planet should have. Pure, raw, unstoppable joy. Except that didn’t just last during your engagement with Walter. Today, just days away from your second wedding anniversary, you still have that bright light in your eyes we saw ignited when you met Walter.
Walter, thank you for loving Ashley. Thank you for being her best friend, her confidant, her cheerleader, her light in a dark world, and the love of her life. And thank you for being more than a good sport about having your photo taken year after year!
Ashley asked us if we could do something a little different for this year’s shoot, so we decided to get a little creative! We decided on a downtown rooftop/urban theme and came across this gem of a building! Thank you SO much, Rock Street Lofts, for allowing us to shoot in your incredible 1930’s manufacturing warehouse-turned apartment building!
