Little Rock Mommy & Me Session Kayleigh & Cade

As a family photographer in Little Rock, late spring is one of my FAVORITE times of year! The pollen has settled, the earth is green again, and the temperatures are mild. I’ve been super blessed this year to photograph lots of families (as opposed to almost none last year because… you know, 2020), but this Mommy & Me session is especially important. Kayleigh is one of my best friends! She is also a photographer, which is how we met. We did a styled wedding shoot together a couple of years ago, and then she asked me to second shoot a couple of weddings for her. We started chatting about our lives, and long story short… we’re basically soul sisters! God knew I needed Kayleigh’s friendship at a hard time in life, and I don’t know what I’d do without her!

The beautiful, curly-haired toddler you’ll see is Cade. I don’t think I’ve ever seen more gorgeous hair on a little boy!! He is a KNOCKOUT!! He loves tractors, planes, dogs, and playing in the dirt. And boy does he loves his mama 🙂 For this shoot, we wanted to focus on the joy and playfulness of Kayleigh and Cade’s relationship. When he’s grown, he’ll have these photos to show him how much joy and love his mom gave him. That is absolutely priceless!!

I was STOKED when Kayleigh asked me to do Mommy & Me session for her and Cade! As a mom myself, I understand firsthand that babies don’t keep. They grow up faster than you can blink. This was an honor!
