There aren’t enough words to describe how incredible Zack & Brittany’s wedding day was!! After dating once, spending some time apart, then dating again- this day was a long time coming! Once they knew they wanted forever together, they chose a short engagement, and a beautiful intimate backyard wedding.
Their closest family and friends were there, and the venue was Zack’s dad’s house. Brittany wore Zack’s grandmother’s pearl earrings in her memory, since she passed only a month before their wedding day. There was SO MUCH love for these families, endless laughter, and a brother-of-the-bride who cared more about the dress and veil being well “fluffed” than the bride did! Ha!
One of my favorite things about their day is that there was a 90% chance of heavy rain for the majority of the day, and it literally stopped raining just in time for their first look, and started back again during the sparkler exit! A lot of people prayed for the weather, and God showed out! Pro tip: don’t stress about wet ground on your wedding day! I carry a clear shower curtain liner with me for the bride to stand on. You would never know 😉
I’m so, SO grateful to have been a part of Zack & Brittany’s wedding day! I felt like part of their family, and might just crash their next family get-together because WOW are they a fun group! 🙂 Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Herrington!!
