A Spring Wedding in Magnolia, Arkansas Aaron & Madison

In a small town private high school, a boy met a girl, and their lives were changed forever. High school romances are typically short-lived, but for Aaron and Madison, it was the beginning of their legacy. He’s a little quiet, she’s outgoing, and together they are what relationship goals are made of! Five years of dating and two college degrees later, they’re MARRIED!!

Besides being incredible human beings, Aaron and Madison are extra special to me because they were in my brother-in-law’s youth group! They’re very close to my sister and BIL, Madison has babysat my nieces and nephews, and my BIL officiated their wedding! (He also married me and Reid 🙂 So they’re practically family!

Plot twist… I arrived at the church and started taking photos of Madison getting ready. She had just started getting her hair done and guess what… the power went OUT. At first we thought maybe a breaker was tripped. Nope. The power was out on the whole block!! You can only imagine what was going through everybody’s heads, because the ceremony and reception were both at the church. Madison left to go finish her hair across town, and we just hoped and prayed it would come back on by ceremony time! About two hours later, BOOM! There it was!

We all drove a few minutes away to a family friend’s property for Aaron and Madison to share their first look and personal vows. All of the prayers for beautiful weather were answered, because it was a perfect sunny, warm (but not hot) May afternoon! After their time together, we shot wedding party photos (my gosh their friends are fun), a few bride and groom photos, and then raced back to the church with 25 minutes to spare before the ceremony! Phew!

Their ceremony was a beautiful celebration of two God-loving families joining together in worship and prayer. And there was electricity, so that was just icing on the cake! Ha! One of my favorite parts of the service was a song sung by Aaron’s brother and Madison sister!

I’m so thankful that we had already planned some time to take sunset portraits of Aaron and Madison since their portrait time earlier in the day was cut a little short. Those are some of my favorite portraits EVER! These two are so, so precious and I believe you can see the love and kindness in their eyes. BEST DAY EVER!

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Russell!!!
