What I Wish I Did Differently | The Poll

Happy Hump Day! Whoever turned the oven off outside, we thank you! Has it ever been in the 60’s in August in Arkansas?? Don’t think so!

Our purpose in writing about wedding-related topics every Wednesday isn’t just because it’s fun to talk about… which of course it is. Our purpose is to provide a resource for brides-to-be and future brides-to-be where they can access first-hand wedding planning tips. We all know that Google is extremely overwhelming and can give you umpteen million different opinions. Asking a friend for advice can be just as overwhelming! That’s one person’s opinion from their one experience. We don’t want our brides, current or future, to ever have to experience that stress. So we did some brainstorming. How can we provide even better real life, first-hand, personal and applicable education to help brides? Here’s how!

We’re taking a poll! If you are married or your wedding day is soon, we need your input! We want to know what you wish you had done differently. We need to preface, though. This is absolutely NOT a “bash your vendor” poll. We believe in community and would never publicly disgrace someone’s name. They may have indeed done you terribly wrong, but that is between you and them. So we ask you to please not make this a platform to voice your displeasure. Now that the technicalities are out of the way, let’s hear your best advice! Come on ladies, we know you’re just dying to share your stories of triumph over adversity (or something like that) with another young lady who is bound to repeat your mistakes!

We will start a new series next Wednesday, August 26th based off of your feedback! The amount of response we receive will determine how long the series continues. Use the comment section below or comment on the thread on Facebook to tell us your stories! Future brides near and far thank you for your cooperation! (And so do we!)

Have a fabulous Wednesday!

  1. I wish I would have hired only from my venues list of recommended vendors. These people had been to my venue, which was a beautiful plantation with horses swings acres and old tractors and trucks, and they utilize everything. My photographer only stayed in one spot
