The Venue at Oakdale Fall Wedding Evan & Sarah Grace

Ever heard the saying “it was worth the wait?” I think Evan & Sarah Grace would both agree that marrying each other last weekend was SO worth the wait. Their chemistry is FIRE and my gosh their hearts for God and love for each other brings tears to my eyes! I can’t imagine either one of them with anyone else. God brought these two people, these two families, together for a divine purpose at just the right time.

Evan proposed to Sarah Grace at their favorite ice cream shop in downtown Benton (heyyyy Just Ice Cream!) He had the whole staff in on it! It’s been a long almost-year of wedding planning and home renovating, and they were SO ready to finally start their forever together.

I had the honor of photographing Sarah Grace’s old sister Sydney’s wedding a few years ago. Getting to be Sarah’s photographer too was a dream because I absolutely adore their family!! Sarah Grace pinned Sydney’s veil in her hair on her wedding day, then Sydney got to do the same for her sister (with an appearance by baby Norah… soon to join the family 🙂

This was my first time shooting at the beautiful new The Venue at Oakdale in North Little Rock and I. Am. Obsessed. This venue has everything you could ask for! One of my favorite things about the property is that we had such beautiful glowy light in the middle of the day! The trees surrounding the buildings helped keep everybody cool (because why not have 90 degree weather in October?) and gave us that soft, glowy light that I love. The owner was extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful. I can’t recommend this place enough, and can’t wait to be back!

Every detail of Evan and Sarah Grace’s day was very thoughtfully and carefully planned… even their incredible choreographed first dance!! Just wait until you see those photos!! Their colors, flowers, hand-written vows, Sarah’s two-part dress- everything was absolutely perfect!
