Seth & Megan | A Joyful Spring Wedding

From the time she was just a teenager trying to figure out how to survive high school, Megan knew that Seth was somebody special. It didn’t take long after meeting Megan for Seth to realize the same about her. Their friendship blossomed into a beautiful relationship, and they defied the odds when they only grew stronger as they matured into adults in college. Now, years later, those once starry-eyed love struck teenagers have become… well, even more love struck. We sat across a table from Seth and Megan last year, completely in awe of their joy and laughter in the fact that they were getting married. With bright eyes, an ear-to-ear smile and a giggle in her voice, Megan looked at Seth and said to us “I just can’t believe I get to marry him!” Can you imagine how much more beautiful our world would be if more of us felt that way about our spouse? If we all felt honored and grateful to be loved by them? If only everyone could be as fortunate as us to spend time around Megan and Seth!

They chose our personal favorite venue for their wedding, the beautiful Cold Springs Events in Paron, Arkansas, and it could not have been a more perfect day! Megan chose a beautiful spring color pallet of eggplant, blush and gray. The colors blended perfectly with the mixture of modern and rustic details. As beautiful as the colors were, our hearts stopped when we saw the ceremony and reception décor. Tea cups and tea pots which belonged to Megan’s grandmother, filled with soft flowers and greenery lined the aisle and adorned the reception tables. Not only that, but guests were greeted by beautiful rustic tables which showcased memorabilia from her great grandparents. Seth & Megan understand the power of a faithful marriage and strong family heritage. They paid honor to their families who made it possible for them to unite as husband and wife in such a way that glorifies God and uplifts everyone who knows them.

After everyone had their fill of wedding cake and gourmet popsicles from Le Pops, Seth and Megan were sent off to their Jamaican honeymoon in her dad’s antique Roadrunner. But not before they let us steal them for one last portrait, under a beautiful full moon!

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Alkire!
