Through the years, we have learned what different wedding day elements make our hearts flutter. Some make us laugh, some inspire us, and some make us cry. Okay, it’s just Brittany that cries. Those elements are what make up the story, and the story is what makes each wedding unique. You guys, this wedding. ALL OF IT! Brock & Kelsey’s wedding was fun, classy, emotional, joyful, sentimental, and it was beautiful around every corner!
Let’s start with the details. Kelsey wore a lace gown with a cathedral train, gold sparkly heels, and an engagement ring unlike anything we’ve seen. She carried a cascading bouquet full of vibrant red hues and cascading greenery. It’s no secret how much we love lace, long trains, gold, glitter, and cascading bouquets, but even more so, we love family heirlooms. Kelsey was given the precious gift of a pearl necklace by her new sister-in-law, which had been given to her by her father. Shortly after, Kelsey showed us the tin cup that her new mother-in-law gave her, which had been shared between her and husband back in their dating days. The amount of love that this family shares for each other is incredible!
Some more of our favorite things: daddy/daughter first looks and cute kids. Kelsey and her daddy shared a sweet moment together before he walked her down the aisle, and we met two of the cutest miniature wedding attendants to date!
We mentioned that this wedding was joyful, but that would be an understatement. There was more laughter from start to finish than any wedding we’ve ever been a part of! This family knows how to have fun, and how to treasure these priceless moments together. They celebrated life, love and the beginning of a new legacy.
We topped off a perfect day with a gorgeous reception at one of our new favorite venues! The Barn at Swepston Jones was the absolute perfect choice for Brock and Kelsey’s reception, and the Rhythm and Blues Band blew us away! The centerpieces were made of local cotton and Magnolia leaves and the decadent Italian dinner was homemade by Kelsey’s family. And since we’re talking about all of our favorite things, we can’t leave without mentioning that the temperature dipped down into the 50s that night. Thank the Lord that fall weather finally showed up!
Brock and Kelsey, your wedding day was a DREAM! You two are blessed with family and friends who love and support you, and a great start to your marriage! Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Eskrigge!!
